Citrix Metaframe XP - Shadowing not available from CMC

If you are running Citrix Metaframe XP and, when you right click on a user to shadow them, the shadow option is greyed out it’s possible the CMC isn’t able to find a local ICA client.

Check to see if the following registry key exists, this is the key the CMC checks to verify the existence of a local ICA client.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WinFrameICA\shell\open\command "

I looked and no I didn’t so

If this key does not exist then try reinstalling the ICA client from your installation media.
